cambodia, french cuisine and richard dreyfuss

kakadating ko lang from cambodia...grabeh, holiday ng dumating kami...birthday ng king/independence day from france/water festival kasi (cambodia has several holidays, mga 24 days annually, so panalo mga empleado dun)...tas foreigners and ppl from the provinces ay pumunta ng phnom penh...after kami nag-land, mejo hiya ako...yung mga cambodian guys, nagtratrabaho sa airport, eh mejo lumapit sa kin ang nagtatatanong ng kung anikanik...my brit boss was on the phone so super lapit talaga ako sa kanya para iwasan ako...isip ko anubaitu di naman ako kagandahan bat ganito...we got into a cab, the taxi driver asked my boss, "sir ur gf?"...isip ko, oa na talaga mga cambodians...almost three hrs bago kami nakadating sa hotel (mas matagal pa kesa sa flight namin from vietnam)...super pandemonium sa streets...kaya sobrang traffic, naalala ko tuloy pinas...we met up with the head of our thai office...usap sila ng boss ko about nepal and trekking...panalo daw dun ang mga mountains, type nio?...yung thai decided to eat in a french resto...so dun kami...lech...puro french di ko naintindihan mga pagkain...boss ko hindi rin pero marunong sia ng konti so ako super lost talaga among the three...buti na lang sila nag order for me otherwise baka di na talaga ako ngumiti the whole night...panalo pagkain, puro ducks and wine na galing sa france and madagascar...so resolution ko e learn french to eat good food...sabi ko na ga ba eh i should have taken my french lessons in u.p. seriously...at eto pa, this couple arrived as we were waiting for our food...voila! si richard drefuss pala ang guy...daming french sa cambodia...parang dami pang natira since na-colonized sila...
